Emek Hatechelet, The Blue Valley Park

While I remain saddened at the loss of our outdoor municipal pool in this location, the new park does probably serve a larger portion of the public and will become an important nature reserve.

Currently there isn't a lot of wild life, nor even domesticated animals, but there's a little. The terrain is steep, even where there are stroller paths. There are signs for handicapped parking, but it's not clear that entrance for handicapped vehicles is ready yet.

Take water, and food for a nosh. There is one restroom facility near the entrance. On a sunny day, take a sun hat. Other than that, enjoy the Galilee views and flora.

Pre-Sukkot street scenes in Tsfat

As Sukkot approached, there were stands everywhere along the intersection of Rehov Yerushalayim and Alyia Bet (or "the gesher" as we call it). Now that festivities have begun, here are a few images of the street scene that was.
